CNet Reviews the Xperia X1

I know there have been so many reviews already of the Xperia X1. In fact we’ve covered some of these reviews in our previous posts here, here.

But wouldn’t it be nice to finally have the Xperia X1 reviewed by the professional folks at Cnet? Well, luckily for us, though I would have to say also that they are more lucky than us, CNET is running a full review of their advance units of the Xperia X1.

Here’s the key highlights of the Xperia X1 review by CNET.

Best feature of the Sony Ericsson Windows mobile handset was set to be its interactive panel interface which offers full customization features. Following it up is the smartphone’s attractive design and QWERTY keyboard.

On the bad side, CNET highlighted three points – the lack of US carrier support, difficulty in using the navigation controls and not so great web browsing.

In closing the review emphasized one letdown of Xperia X1 which might not make it a popular choice among smartphone users – the lack of US carrier support that would cause its price to plummet at $799.99.
