hai.. friends.. i had sucessfully updated 2 times in a week,06-09/03/2011 really! for my x1i,the ROM ver now is 1.05.949.13 RADIO ver is 1.14.25.55 protocol 52.6525.34u Ext pkg ver 1.0.11889.15276.. now the over all soft/updated ver shown at the bottom of the screen is 2.11.3.6…any doubt contact me..sukusyrya@yahoo.co.in..bye,,.

Xperia update ………….. i think will never come as sony ericcson are busy designing and updating other new xperia models and completely forgetting about its First Xperia user .

Very irresponsible attitude of such a huge company.

I can’t get the phone in “update mode”. I press and hold volume and power buttons, but the colored striped do not show. Is there some special trick? Is it volume up or volume down…or both?

As directed I am updating with Hard SPL etc. My phone and PC shows progress bar with 0%. But upto half an hours it doesn’t move forward. Then I restart the phone and tried it again but the same problem occur. please guide me to update my phone. Thank you

ditto… had this phone since it came out on VF, stuck on a contract, cant update software, cant get any decent apps… its now slow as anything, … i’ll miss the keyboard but i think its time to move to the iphone.
