When Sony announced the Sony Xperia T they told us it would be out in the next few weeks, where as both the Xperia J and Xperia V would be out in Q4. Sony have lived up to this promise as the handset is already available with one UK retailer.

Phones 4U in the UK are now selling the Sony Xperia T, while rival companies such as the Carphone Warehouse still have the handset listed as coming soon. Through Phones 4U, you can pick the Xperia T up on a 24 month contract with Orange or O2. With Orange, the lowest tariff is Panther 36 which, normally costs £36 a month and gives you 600 minutes, 3000 texts and 1GB of data. However through Phones 4U there is a monthly discount of £7.50, bringing the total monthly cost down to £28.50.

Alternatively, the handset is also available with O2 for £36 a month and O2 will give you 1GB of data, unlimited texts and unlimited minutes. For the first 250 orders through Phones 4U, the company will send out a Sony Smartwatch which retails for £100, for free.
