Sony Ericsson appoint new boss

Current CEO for Sony Ericsson Dick Komiyama is to leave the company soon as is being replaced by Ericsson executive Bert Nordberg. Nordberg will take over the position of CEO for Sony Ericsson from the 15th October and is already outlining plans to get more market share back. He’s already promised more smartphones, as he feels they are the company’s weakness.
“Sony Ericsson has taken the lead in music phones and camera phones with the Cybershot and the Walkman, but there are some weaknesses in the smartphone segment and we need to restore that.”
It isn’t clear if Nordberg is referring to the X2 and X3, or if he has other smartphone handsets in mind as well.

yes sony Ericsson is the best in music and camera segment but they need to be the best in the smartphone segment also and everybody knows they can be the best.. i am happy they are coming with more smartphones.. SE RULES!
