As well as the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, the company have also announced another handset for the Xperia range of handsets. This is the Xperia Active. The Xperia Ray is quite similar to the Xperia Arc and Neo. It features specs that both the Arc and Neo feature and looks similar to the Xperia Arc. However the Xperia Ray comes in a smaller form factor. It has a 3.3 inch display but, uses the Mobile Bravia Engine, as found on the Arc and Neo. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray will also feature an 8 megapixel camera with an Exmor R sensore. Like the Neo and Arc, the Xperia Ray will also be able to record videos in 720p HD quality.

Despite the smaller screen, the Ray will use the same resolution as the Arc (854×480). The Ray will be available from Q3 and be available in white, black, pink and gold. Pricing is unknown currently but, it’s very likely to be cheaper than the Xperia Arc and Neo.
