Sony Ericsson will be releasing their Android powered handset, the Xperia X10 to Australia through the Telstra network. You can pick the X10 up on a 2 year contract and it will be free when taking out the Ultimate plan. The Ultimate plan will cost you $110 AUD ($102 USD) a month, which over the two years equates to $2640 AUD ($2447 USD). The handset will also be available without a contract, which depending on how much you use your phone, could cost you a lot less. Purchasing the X10 outright will set you back $1099 AUD ($1018 USD). The network will be launching the handset May 4th and you can register your interest here.

  1. Hi folks, – found your current web site by pure luck whilst drifting across the net this afternoon, and glad that I did! I do like the style and design and colorings, but I need to point out that I’m having trouble when it loads. I’m using Classilla 8 web browser for mac, and the menu bit does not align completely. i’m pretty sure made use of an identical layout on a company’s internet site, but the menu seems all straight on mine. I have an idea the error is at my end and I guess today’s the day to switch!
