I notice that the advice is that if the update service says the ROM is up to date, that you should continue anyway.

How do you do that? as I cant find an option to continue. it simply says no update available and i can only go back to the start.

I just bought the x1, I did some settings (also a password) and had to turn it off. Now when I turn it on my password is incorrect. I can’t even turn my phone off and when I try to enter a password it does not even give the sign that my password is incorrect, it does nothing at all! So when I click cancel my phone sometimes flickers a bit to the main screen (or sometimes agenda or contacts) and then goes immediately back to a screen which sais I can call emergency calls and I can click on numbers on that screen (but it does not look like the login screen). Does anyone know what to do here? Please help me out!

i hv bn a SE user for many years, some months ago i bought SEx1, evrything ws smooth when last week the mobile fell out from my hand, the batery got separeted, after switching it on again, got problems, 1- touch screnn wsnt responding even on closed mode or open keyboard mode, then i managed to open(i hv a bit undestending on mobile hardware), wht o found is the main pplug wich connects the sreen to base ws loose, so i connected it firmly, it worked properly, but the touch screen in open keyboard left responding, and the microphone is also working with problems, like the sound is wery down.
so any can help me sorting out by advising the best ways…

Hi, I recently came across the x1 its great, however I cant connect it to my computer… or any computer for that matter. I have tried everything I can think of, the phone will not do anything when I plug it in via usb, blue tooth is a bust, not even the update service or the windows mobile device center will work… please help!? When I try to use my X1 camera all the features come up like settings etc, but the screen remains blank and you cannot take a picture. Any Ideas???

the wifi reception is extremely poor how can i fix this problem? Is it even fixable?

I have same issues as Dtje am a big fan of SE phone so far but now am getting put off. Its rejecting ma password that i ve used for months. Sometimes it says wrong password and sometimes it does not respond @ all. Whats funny is that i can receive calls but cannot call out or read ma text. Its practically useless. Ive had the w800, w850, w950, K700, K800, P1i and now X1i and this is the only one thats given me issues. Also found that the memory card has been formatted aghhhh!. All this happened after i dint use it for over 3 weeks could it be that battery got too flat??

did you use stylus when trying to align screen? If you use fingers, the phone would not let you go further.
