Sony Releases the Xperia X1 SDK

Mobile Entertainment is reporting that Sony Ericsson has just made available for download its Beta SDK for Windows Mobile 6.1 which is the operating system installed on the Xperia X1. With the newly released SDK, third party developers can now start creating Panels UI features as well as Xperia applications.

The Sony Ericsson SDK is on its 1.0.4 release and comes with Microsoft’s Visual Studio 2008. It is compatible with Windows Vista OS and has mapping support for Device Emulators.

Third party applications and games developers can easily work their way around the SDK as it comes with a walkthrough for the Mobile2Market certification program.
