We reported recently that Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10 would be making it’s way to Best Buy stores from October 24th in white. What we didn’t know at the time however, is that as well as the handset being available in white, the handset will include exclusive Taylor Swift content, aptly named “The Essential Taylor Swift Experience”.

Preloaded onto the Xperia X10 is her self-titled album, “Taylor Swift”, along with her new album, “Fearless”. Her latest single “Mine” is also included and is available as a ringtone, and as a music video on the phone. If that wasn’t enough, you will also get all the music from Swift’s upcoming album, “Speak Now”, which will be available from October 25.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 smartphone has been available in the US for a little while now but, only available in the standard black color. This is set to change soon however, as Best Buy will soon begin selling the handset in white. The white version of the Xperia X10 should go on sale on October 24th. As before, the handset is still only available on AT&T, meaning you will need to sign up for a new two year contract with the network. The handset itself, when bought with a contract, will set you back $99. To secure your white X10 handset, you can place a $50 deposit to reserve one.

As well as selling the Xperia X10 in white, Best Buy are also due to begin selling the Samsung Fascinate in white for the holiday season. The Dell Streak will also be making it’s way to Best Buy, making all three handsets available from the 24th of October onwards. Best Buy certainly seem to be dreaming of a white Christmas this year.

Almost two months after Best Buy’s supposed release date for the X1, this week has seen the start of their silver Xperia X1 stock. Best Buy were also touted to be an exclusive seller of the black X1. While the silver X1 is available to purchase, the exclusive black X1, has not only not been released, but it is missing from Best Buy’s website. So if you’ve been holding out for the black model, it seems you’re out of luck.

Following our recent coverage saying that Best Buy will be releasing the Xperia X1a on Dec. 7, words on the street (Engadget’s street) indicate that Best Buy is already releasing the said phone on November 29 and have put up a pre-order page already. Now, to distinguish this announcement with the previous announcement, let it be known that the model coming out on Dec 7 was the all-black Xperia X1a which according to Best Buy will an exclusive to them. The Xperia X1a up for pre-order right now is the silver Xperia X1a.

Either models will still cost you the same $799.99 though. And there are still no words on whether the phone will be carried by any wireless carrier. Again, if you’ve been wanting to have this great Sony Ericsson phone, better start pre-ordering at Best Buy now, as I have a feeling that stocks of Xperia X1a for the US won’t be that much.

The Boy Genius Report managed to get hold ofsome screenshots of a Best Buy inventory showing that the Xperia X1 is finally arriving on US soil via Best Buy on Dec. 7. The Sony Ericsson X1a, which is the North American iteration of the said smartphone, will start selling at a whooping $799.99! But that’s because it will not be under any carrier plans and coverage, so you can pretty much understand why the price tag is that high.

US mobile phone users are luckier that us folks in the Philippines, since the Xperia X1 might retail for around $840.

If the Xperia X1 will not be available under any US mobile carrier, I doubt if it will be as successful as it rival smarthpone – the G1 and of course the iPhone which are both available at sub $300 with two-year service agreement on T-Mobile and AT&T.

But it will definitely still sell, for those who are avid Sony Ericsson users and who are eagerly anticipating the release of the Xperia X1. That is, if they have not bought either the iPhone or the G1 yet.
