If you guys hate the standard screen for incoming calls, or wish it were bigger, there’s an app that will help you and make the incoming call space larger. The app is called iCaller, which is described as a “simple CallerID app”. It allows contact pictures to be displayed full size, along with the name and address of your contact. It’s currently in alpha stage, so is likely to contain some bugs and may not work on all devices, but that hasn’t stopped some members of XDA-Developers from creating skins for it.

Forum member F-Styla had problems with the app on his handset, so modified the program and fixed some issues as outlined below.

* Fixed the position problem
* Made the font bigger
* Put caller information on the top
* Xperia style screen when contacts without pictures call you
* SU2U (ipod style) background for calling information

Where as mcvrle created a new style for it, which is simple but cool and a greater change from the original style. This style works in both landscape and portrait mode, as well as recognising and showing where the call is coming from, whether it’s a home number, work or mobile.
