If sometimes you don’t want to use the QWERTY keyboard on the Xperia X1, there’s already virtual keyboards released for the X1, but now FingerKeyboard, created by Exidler and designed by Rozenthal over at XDA-Developers has been updated to FingerKeyboard2 and also includes support for the X1.

It’s touted as having a great layout and easy to use with just your fingers, as well as having a stylish design putting it as one of the best touch screen keyboards which is finger friendly and doesn’t comprimise on looks. The app is able to run in both landscape and portrait mode with a great layout either way, has a numeric layout option and supports multiple languages.

One complaint among X1 users, seems to be that using the X1 with one hand proves to be quite difficult. One of the reasons being that there isn’t a finger friendly keyboard, the QWERTY keyboard needs to be used for replying to messages etc. There also isn’t a Start menu button.
