One blogger over at the Sony Ericsson blog has handled the Xperia X10 and tried the camera out on it. The first photos were taken when it was grey outside, but more pictures were also taken once the sun came out. He explains that the handset of course has pre release hardware and software, so the final retail version should hopefully be even better.
It’s also noted, that he hasn’t got that used to the X10 yet, so the settings haven’t been optimized, which really, in my opinion, gives the best review of photo shots. He’s also working on a tripod for the X10, so there may be shake visible. A variety of photos have been taken, as explained above from the grey to when the sun came out, along with landscape and macro shots. A video has also been taken on the X10 to demonstrate the video capabilities. You can view the photos and the video after the jump.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is due to hit stores this month but, Pocket-Lint have got their hands on the handset early. While they haven’t provided much of a preview of the handset, they have provided a ton of photos, which could quite easily be defined as the best X2 pictures to date.
The X2, like the X1 will feature Windows Mobile and feature panels, such as eBay and skype. Spotify and Last.fm are also working with Sony Ericsson to provide panels for their services, adding more music options to the handset.

The lucky folks over at Mobile Crunch have got hold of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Rachael and taken some “spy pics” to share around. The pictures aren’t the best quality we’ve seen and Into Mobile reports that the snaps were taken with a Motorola RAZR phone. The handset is seen with the standard Android UI instead of the Rachael UI previously seen. While the photos were taken with a lower end camera phone, the lighting in the photos is better than other leaked shots of the handset but, still a bit blurry.

While this photos are rather blurry, it does appear to be the Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 in these photos. The photos, while blurry are definitely better than nothing. The shots show off the operating system of the handset. The X3 moves away from Windows Mobile and uses Android instead. The UI is still in the early stages of development at the minute but, it’s a good insight into how the OS will look on the handset.

A busy week for all things Xperia. Following on from the videos we have of the Xperia X2, Areamobile.de have gotten up close and personal with the Xperia Pureness. Unfortunately no video this time, not yet anyway but, they’ve taken many photos of the handset. The photos reveal more of the transparent screen and how transparent it really is. One of the photos shows the handset without seeing what’s going on behind the phone, which would hopefully mean the screen can’t be seen from behind either for SMS purposes but, another picture seems to show that the display can be seen from the other side. Telefonino who have reported on these photos estimate that the handset will retail for around $699.

Pocketables have recently posted up some outside photos taken from the Xperia X1. The photos were taken at Six Flags by Jenn.
The photos are deemed rather unimpressive with the quality not being very good. Also the colors appear dull, with fine details missing. Ouch! Jenn does state however that the photos were taken in VGA quality and then resized for the blog. Bearing that in mind, the photos really don’t show the true potential of the 3.2 megapixel camera of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1.

Over at The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog, Michell has received her his Xperia X1 and has been “snapping like crazy” with the X1. She’s He’s provided 36 photos and 2 videos from the Xperia.
Verdict? They’re pretty impressive. Michell admits to being surprised at how good the camera is in the X1. Photos are of high quality and there were no signs of color or white balance problems. The only issue found, that is a seldom sight, is some photos have a purple tint.

SEMC Blog have posted up some photographs of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, showing three different versions of the X1.
As you can see, the first two models do not show the Xperia text above the d-pad as shown on the third. Nor do they contain as many icons on the buttons. The second one with no icons at all.

There are only two different versions of the backplate of the X1. The second one looking much smoother and sleeker in my opinion.
I’ve seen both of the different backplates in various photos of the X1 but, previously I had only seen the third version of the frontplate, I much prefer that version too.
Unfortunately there is no information as of yet detailing why they are different. Or if one is for the X1a and the other being for the X1i but we’ll keep you informed of any further information.
