Pointui which was being updated for version 2 has now been released in beta form. Pointui Home 2 brings support for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 in the form of a panel.

The beta version contains limited functionality compared to what the full version will include, but gets a thumbs up from Xperiancers. The beta app is described as being easy to navigate and well laid out. You can compare the pro version features with the beta version as well as download the beta app here.

Windows Mobile application Pointui Home is to be updated to version 2, which also includes support for the Xperia X1. Pointui Home allows users to control their device using the touchscreen without the need of a stylus. The interface is generously sized allowing for easy finger control and highly responsive. Version 2 of Pointui Home currently doesn’t have a release date, but you can see the application in action on the X1 below.
