X10 Mini and Mini Pro available for pre-order

Online UK retailer Expansys have listed the Xperia X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro on their website, available for pre-order. The company initially put the release date out as March 16th but, shortly after this was changed to May 24th. A May 24th release date certainly seems more realistic than the original March 16th date and hopefully it won’t change again.

The X10 Mini, is available to pre-order for £299.99. Where as the X10 Mini Pro, which features a slide out QWERTY keyboard, you’ll be paying £40 more for the keyboard, with it retailing at £339.99.

Xperia X2 delayed on UK online retailer

While Vodafone may have left the X2 high and dry in the UK, online retailer Play.com had put the Xperia X2 up for pre-order. Originally it was to be released on the 29th of January but, from then onwards for the next few days, the product listed said the handset was out of stock. The page has been updated again, offering the handset up for pre-order. This time the release date is expected to be the 17th of February. with rumors going around that the X2 has been cancelled in the UK altogether, it’ll be interesting to see if Play do ship this handset out, or whether the page will be taken down after the 17th. Hopefully Play will be able to release the handset unlocked to those in the UK who do want the Windows Mobile handset, over the upcoming Android powered X10.

Xperia X2 to be released January 29th

Over at Play.com, you can now pre-order the Xperia X2. They have the release date as January 29th. The handset will cost £499.99 from Play. The Sony Ericsson Store does not have the release date posted but, still says January 2010. Vodafone on the other hand, the page for the X2 is no longer available. Instead a page not found message is displayed.

Pre-order product page for Xperia Rachael removed

Sorry folks but the pre-order page for Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Rachael has been removed from Expansys. With still no official confirmation from Sony Ericsson, it isn’t very surprising, but this has put a damper on hopes of the handset coming soon. We still haven’t heard when the X2 will be released, so hopefully we’ll be seeing that up for pre-order soon, but as a permanent pre-order, until the device is released.

Pre-order sim free silver X1

We recently reported that Play.com are offering the Xperia X1 for £499.99 instead of the RRP of £599.99. Previously only the black model was available to pre-order. The silver model has now been added to their site.

The silver X1 is similarly priced to the black model, both have a RRP of £599.99 but, Play.com are now also listing the silver model as £499.99.

Both models are expected to be released on the 31st of October.
