While America won’t see Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 until November 29th, the highly anticipated handset has made it’s way to India and has seen it’s release there. For mobile makers, India has the third most important market and they’ve been targeting the high end market in India for a while so it’s sure to be a hit there.

The phone is retailing for 45500 rupees which converts to $916 (via XE.com), making it a fair amount more than the US X1.
