A bit sooner than expected, which can only be a good thing, the Xperia X1 is now available for Canadian consumers on the Rogers network. It was previously soft launched in various stores on June 9th, with a full launch set for 30th June.

The handset is available to purchase from their website and we now have the prices for contracts less than 3 years. On a 3 year contract with Rogers the Xperia will set you back $250. If you opt for a two year contract, the handset is almost twice the price at $450. The handset can also be purchased with a 1 year contract and will cost $550, but for $50 you can buy the handset out right.
