While Play.com and even eXpansys without their “Friday Deal” offer the X1 for a lower price than Blueunplugged, their estimated release dates are for the end of October/beginning of November. Blueunplugged however have the estimated available date as three days.

The quicker availablitity will set you back £619.95 ($1,063.29) compared to Play’s £499.99 price and eXpansys £585 price tag. So if you don’t want to wait and don’t mind paying the extra it could be worth checking Blueunplugged out, but remember, it’s an earlier date but, it is still just an estimated availability date.

We recently reported that Play.com are offering the Xperia X1 for £499.99 instead of the RRP of £599.99. Previously only the black model was available to pre-order. The silver model has now been added to their site.

The silver X1 is similarly priced to the black model, both have a RRP of £599.99 but, Play.com are now also listing the silver model as £499.99.

Both models are expected to be released on the 31st of October.

The Xperia X1 has recently become available to pre-order on contract from the Carphone Warehouse. However, if you’re like me and prefer the sim free and contract free option, one website is offering the sim free model for £100 off the retail price.

The Xperia X1 should retail for £599.99 sim free with some retailers offering it for £570. Play.com have the Sony Xperia X1 available to pre-order at £499.99 ($847.68) saving you a sweet £100 ($169.54).

The Xperia X1 will be available from the 31st of October, that is assuming that it won’t be further delayed in the UK.
