T-Mobile have confirmed that three of Sony Ericsson’s recently announced handsets will be making their way to their network. Three of the four Xperia handsets announced by Sony Ericsson at MWC were said to be coming within the next month or so, while the Xperia Pro was not given a release date.

The three that will be released soon, is the Xperia Arc, Xperia Neo and Xperia Play. T-Mobile will be stocking all three handsets when they are due to launch in April.

T-Mobile went on to say that the Xperia Play is “perfect for gamers, the handset is certified by PlayStation and features a slide out game controller with the well-known Sony PSP layout.” While the Xperia Arc was described as “ideal for multimedia users, runs on Android 2.3 technology, and comes with an extra wide 4.2-inch multi-touch screen and in-built Mobile Bravia Engine to give users the ultimate entertainment experience.” With regards to the Neo, T-Mobile said: “it has been built with the photographer in mind. Like the Arc, it comes with an 8.1 mega pixel camera and HD video facility, for taking memorable photos and video clips whilst on the go. The handset also comes pre-loaded with Sony Exmor R best in class imaging, so users can capture digital camera-quality pictures in any setting with its f/2.4 lens, and share them with friends via MMS or upload directly to social networking sites.”

UK carrier T-Mobile already offer the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 on their network with their £35 a month, 24 month contract and now they are to offer the baby Xperia X10 – the Xperia X10 Mini to it’s customers from July of this year.

The T-Mobile website has been updated in the ‘phones coming soon’ section to include the X10 Mini. Interested customers can enter their details on the “register your interest” form and T-Mobile will keep them informed on the availability of the handset. They do state that the Xperia X10 Mini, with it’s 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen display, 5MP auto focus camera and the Android 1.6 operating system, is coming to their network in July although as yet they haven’t provided any contract or pricing details for this newest Sony Ericsson smartphone addition to their range.
