Sure, there are a lot of unboxing videos you can choose from if you go on YouTube and try to look for any, but admit it, it doesn’t get any better than seeing the hot and sexy Maria Sharapova unboxing her new Sony Ericsson Xperia smartphone. OK, maybe she’s not as hot as she could have been in this video, but hey, she looks cute anyway. And that phone in her hand? The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro. She goes over a few of the features she immediately noticed about it and drops a few related comments. Watch the unboxing video embedded above to see for yourself.
UsTwo.co.uk have created promotional videos for the Xperia X2 and the X10, aka Rachael. They video clips are described as “emotive in phone” videos. The videos don’t show you the handsets but rather, what is going on, in the phone. You can view their X2 video below and the X10 after the jump.
Sony Ericsson have released the official video of the Xperia X2 and published it on their YouTube account. However if this isn’t beefy enough for you, both SE-First and Telefonino have a hands on of the handset. SE-First pretty much only cover the various sides of the handset, giving you a 360 degree look at it along with how the battery cover can be removed.
Telefonino on the other hand have a much more in-depth look at the handset. The video is in Italian but English subtitles have been added which can be viewed by clicking on the arrow under the video and then selecting CC. Not a problem if you understand Italian though. You can view all the videos after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
We previously posted up the video for the recently announced Xperia Pureness, previously known as Kiki. It appears that the previous video was only part 1 and below we have part 2. Unfortunately the second video doesn’t give any further details away about what specs it’ll feature. It is clear however, that not only can you view the display from the back of the phone as well as the front, but you can also see through it. The video shows blocks behind the phone which can be seen through the display, along with what’s actually on the display. We’ll keep you posted on other specifications as they emerge.
Only hours after the official announcement from Sony Ericsson and Engadget have had the privilege of receiving a hands on with the phone. Many questions about the handset are asked. In the video below, it’s confirmed that the touch screen is resistive and to go into landscape mode on the home screen, there is no accelerometer for that, but rather the QWERTY keyboard needs to be slid open.
There’s a button for “snacking” information, which is best viewed in portrait mode for more information on the screen. Engadget describe the homescreen as flashy but gimmicky. In the model demoed, it is still a production model, so the UI has a few bits of lag in it and Windows Mobile 6.5 is described as not being all it could be by Sony Ericsson. You can view the video along with several photos of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 after the jump.
A while back we reported on a program that runs on your PC to convert various video types to a format the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 supports. The software by 4VideoSoft has been upgraded from version 2.8 to 3.1. No word on what the update adds but the appearance of the software has been changed and is more aesthetically pleasing. The software is free to try but doesn’t allow videos over 5 minutes to be converted and videos less than 5 minutes, only half of the video will be converted. To upgrade to the full version is $21.95 from 4VideoSoft.
Dailymobile.se tipster Carlin, informed them about a video taken with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. The video below is footage taken with an actual X1 and it lets us sample how good the Xperia X1 really is.
There’s no information available regarding the settings that were used on the Xperia X1 to take that quality of video but, it is definitely one of the highest quality video samples I’ve seen and is very impressive.
