Windows Mobile 6.5 is Official

Recently, a not so tight lipped Motorola CEO let it slip that there could be a Windows Mobile…..shh….version 6.5 on the way in the future. We didnt really expect what has happened next but, Pocketnow have reported that Steve Ballmer himself has confirmed the rumour in a Telstra webcast.

Of course, Steve Ballmer is CEO at Microsoft so Windows Mobile 6.5 is officially, official! Mr Ballmer also made mention of Windows Mobile 7 which isn’t coming in the immediate future as version 6.5 isn’t going to be with us until next year but, it’s good news for Windows Mobile users and it’s good to see a new release to keep us entertained until Windows Mobile 7 gets here.

    I got windows mobile 6.5 ported rom on my MDA. I looks great on my MDA but little slow..
