xperia-panels
Xperia panel creators who wish to release their work, or participate in promotional events within Sony Ericsson channels, such as the next Content Awards event, will now have to have their panel certified. Sony Ericsson have released the Xperia X1 panel certification program so developers can see if their panel passes. The certification program checks for performance and quality in the panel. If the panel passes, the developer can use the certified for Xperia X1 logo on promotional products.

Whether it’s a web panel or a native panel that’s created, the program is able to check both for performance and quality and give it a pass or fail. However the requirements for each type of panel is different and is worth checking before starting. It’s also noted that, while the panel can meet the requirements for the Xperia X1, it may not pass the certification process for Windows Mobile phones, but more information on the certification of Microsoft Mobile2Market can be found on the Intertek NSTL website.

  3. I would not recommend getting until SONY Ericsson resolves the casing crack issues. This is true for my silver Xperia has develop crack today (10th April-2009). I bought it in February 2009. The crack is at the corner of battery near to the camera and the volume control button. I have brought it to the the attention of SONY Ericsson, service centre. And I hope that they would acknowledge it, and replace it with a new and different batch. My guess is that they are using a cheap plastic that would not be able to take the stress, thus crack. Couple the heat that has been generated by the battery, it will accelerate and reduce the lifetime of the plactic, ie reduce the allowable stress of the plastic. It seems that Sony Ericsson has decided not to use HTC anymore for the production of Xperia. I think there is quality issue on the Sony Ericsson Xperia models

  4. That is some inspirational stuff. By no means knew that thoughts might be this varied. Thanks for all the enthusiasm to provide such helpful facts the following….

  5. Good blog! I truly love how it is easy on my eyes as well as the facts are well written. I am wondering how I could be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which need to do the trick! Have a nice day!

  6. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  7. I have not checked in here for some time as I thought it was getting boring, but the last several posts are great quality so I guess I’ll add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it friend :)

  8. 29. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
