Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 is in high demand everywhere. Here in the UK, several stores have already sold out of the X1. There are some stores which haven’t even received their stock of the phone yet.
The stores that received the phone previously are awaiting further delieveries of the X1, but hopefully the phones will be distributed more evenly when the next shipment of X1s are sent out.
This information was found from a survey of retailers with a Carphone Warehouse employee commenting on the X1 and it’s shortages. He had this to say: “‘It’s not had much exposure yet. I think they’re cautious of offering it due to stock shortages, like there was on the BlackBerry Bold.’
While it may not have had much exposure in stores, it’s had plenty since it was announced back in February through the internet, so it’s likely the shortages of the X1 will continue for a bit longer.

That was a very useful one. I found other interesting articles that compare iphone with Blackberry bold and also some comparison on the latest touch phones like SonyEricsson Xperia and Samsung Omnia. One of the link is below:-
