Xperia X1 support added to SlingPlayer Mobile

Another popular application has been updated to support Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1. This time round it’s the SlingPlayer Mobile. The update by Sling Media provides support for 800×480, 640×480 and 320×320 screen resolutions which adds the Xpera X1, among other phones, to their list of compatible handsets.

SlingPlayer Mobile allows users to watch their TV, including services such as pay per view, video on demand and local weather and sports channels from their handset. You can download and give SlingPlayer a try for 30 days for free, after that it retails for $29.99.

    Looks good, but in that configuration it only uses only half the screen. Any chance it can be operated in a “landscape” mode so that it’s able to use more of the screen?
