At the ongoing Mobile World Congress, Sony Ericsson has announced that there will be four new panels for the Xperia X1. These panels would include, a CNN panel that will provide breaking news from CNN newstream, a MyTopia panel for giving access to MyTopia’s games, Skype panel with direct access to Skype VoIP functions as well as instant messaging, and the Sony Ericsson “On the Road” panel that will provide access to the basic phone features and media features of the Xperia X1. This On the Road panel will be most useful for quick access to the phone’s features by those who are driving or doing something else.
The new Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 panels will be made available sometime in March.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
