Xperia X10 2.0.A.0.453 approved

With all of Sony Ericsson’s firmware updates for the Xperia X10, they have all been approved and been displayed on the PTCRB site. The previous approved firmware models have been small changes to the actual Sony Ericsson UI and have been named “R1EA029″ and similar.

The latest approved firmware however leaves us to believe that the Android 2.1 update is near, as the update is named “2.0.A.0.453″, completely different to what we’ve seen before. With the firmware being approved, it should mean that the update won’t be too long a way and hopefully won’t be delayed either. If the timeline is kept by Sony Ericsson, we should see Android 2.1 by the end of the week.
