Good news for our American readers as it looks like the Xperia X10 from Sony Ericsson will finally be released in the US. The handset is due to be released sometime between the middle of August and the middle of September this year, so not too long to wait now. The handset will be made available through AT&T, where the Xperia X10 has recently passed the company’s technical acceptance test.

The device is, according to AT&T’s systems, to cost phone retailers $345 per handset but, it’s unknown currently what the subsidized and unsubsidized costs and tariffs will be. It is also very likely that the x10 handset will ship with the Google Android OS version 1.6 but, hopefully the expected 2.1 update should follow shortly after release of the X10 on US shores.

  1. How is it that just anyone can create a weblog and get as popular as this? Its not like youve said something incredibly impressive –more like youve painted a fairly picture about an issue that you know nothing about! I dont want to sound mean, right here. But do you seriously think that you can get away with adding some pretty pictures and not genuinely say anything?

  2. Thanks for taking the time to talk about this, I really feel strongly about it and like learning much more on this topic. If achievable, as you gain experience, would you thoughts updating your blog with additional information and facts? It’s extremely useful for me.
