Xperia X2 MR2 update released

A few weeks back, Sony Ericsson released a firmware update for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2. This update was dubbed the MR1 update, which added video calling support and and FM radio support. At the time, another update, the MR2 was promised which has now been released. Again, this update improves performance of the handset and usability but, the biggest part of the update, is that it brings Windows Mobile 6.5.3 to the X2. To upgrade, you’ll need to use the Sony Ericsson Update Service. If the update isn’t showing, check back in a few hours, as it’s being rolled out throughout various regions at a different speed.

When wil the X2 reach South African shores. MTN & Sony Ericcson South Africa have no idea if the X2 will be requisitioned for contract subscribers.
Please can someone advise estimated date of delivery if any, so that I make alternative decisions for my upgrade.
Downloaded and installed MR2, took away the transcriber feature all games except solitare. Alot of the issues have been addressed. however the phone is still unstable, laggs, and all in all is a disappointment. wish i had bought an i-phone or a nokia
After updating the MR2 it is ore responsive and have added some features but one of my favorite phone’s attrbute was deleted – The Letter Recognizer. SE replaced my 1st unit coz I complained that there was no Transcriber feature then I realized on my 2nd unit that it will be deleted after the software upgrade. I’ve used P800 to P900 to P1 & X1 and this is my 1st time to encounter this. SE should do something about this!!!
I just downloaded this transcriber onto my Xperia X2. Works great… icons don’t show up though, but that’s the only thing that doesn’t work :D. Hope this helps.

i dont know if you guys know this but you can download those missing games and apps back from sony ericsson website through the phone for free. Just go to the IE and click on apps or games
